Rochester Schools is proud to announce that Debbie Kramer, an instructional coach for the district, has been recognized by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) for Student Support Personnel as part of this year’s prestigious "ISBE Those Who Excel" awards. Mrs. Kramer is one of three outstanding individuals from Rochester CUSD #3A honored in this year’s recognition program.
A dedicated educator with a passion for student success, Mrs. Kramer graduated from the University of Illinois and has been a valued member of the Rochester Schools community since 2009. Over the past 15 years, she has been instrumental in supporting teachers, enhancing instructional practices, and ensuring students receive the best possible education.
"Her dedication to supporting our students goes far beyond her role—she is a true advocate, mentor, and source of encouragement for those who need it most. Debbie works tirelessly to ensure that every student feels heard, supported, and empowered to succeed, both academically and personally," said Rochester 2-3 Elementary Principal Randy Krepel. "Her impact is felt every day, and this recognition is a well-deserved testament to her commitment to our school community. We are so grateful for all that she does!"
As an instructional coach, Mrs. Kramer collaborates closely with educators to implement innovative teaching strategies, provide mentorship, and foster a culture of continuous learning. She is deeply committed to empowering teachers with the tools and resources they need to help every student reach their full potential. Her work has had a profound impact on the district, strengthening instructional practices and ultimately benefiting student achievement.
