Route #16 is a double route tonight, please wait in the HS cafeteria after school until your shuttle bus arrives to pick you up and take you home. Please direct any questions regarding late buses to the Bus Garage at (217)498-9834.
CACC INFORMATION
CACC will not be in session on Monday, March 4.
SPIRIT DAY
We will have an 80's Spirit Day this Friday, March 8 in support of the HS Musical this weekend. Staff and students are encouraged to dress up like the 1980’s.

WRESTLING RESULTS
Congratulations to Carly Ho 105 who was the IWCOA Girls Sectional Champion and James Escobar 150 who placed 4th at IWCOA Fr/So Sectionals. Carly and James both qualified for the IWCOA State Championship that will be held this weekend at the BOS Center in Springfield. Congratulations!
STATE ROBOTICS COMPETITION
The team performed well at the state meet on Friday and Saturday, and was a first team selection for the state of Illinois Elimination Round. The team made it to the quarterfinal round before elimination, farther than any previous Rochester team has advanced. Congratulations on a great season to Seniors Truman Schudel, Lemuel Chan, Jenny Stevens and Haley Freeman; Sophomores Alex Graff, Jaelyn Watts and Austin Thompson; Freshman Sean Arras; and Junior High members Mason Cousins and Ilsa Zuver.

RHS BLOOD DRIVE INFORMATION
Keep up the GREAT work Rockets! We only have 15 more slots for the Blood Drive, with times available on Friday, March 15. Students who participate can earn NHS and Club U Hours! AND will be eligible for a gift card, or t-shirt! Sign up using this link: RHS Blood Drive 2024.
Students and staff can participate during their PE classes and Rocket Time. Students MUST be 16 years of age or older to donate. Students who are 16 will need parent/guardian permission forms completed before donating. Forms can be turned in to Mrs. Hawkins or Mrs. Schneider. Consent Form Impact Life
This drive is not open to the community, but community members can visit ImpactLife to find a location and event nearby! Any community member who donates between March 15-22 and notes Rochester HS, will receive credit toward our Lifesaving Grant. There is still room and time to sign up for the upcoming Greece trip. Students, parents, and friends are welcome to travel on this Educational Tour during July 2024. COLLEGE NOW ANNOUNCEMENT
College Now students operate on the LLCC Schedule. This means that Spring Recess follows the LLCC schedule (class meetings happen during the schools' spring breaks if they do not coincide with LLCC's) and closings (class cancellations) also follow the LLCC schedule. If LLCC is open, classes meet, regardless of what is happening in the Rochester School District. LLCC weather closing announcements are available at www.llcc.edu. RHS PTO INFORMATION
HS Teachers need your help, kleenex and Clorox wipes are needed now to help us get through the cold and flu season! You can make a donation at PayPal - (RHS PTO @rhsrocketspto) , you can visit our Amazon Wish List at RHS PTO Wish List or you can drop off donations at Student Services. The money collected helps buy supplies for the school and helps provide meals for Parent/Teacher conferences and treats during Teacher Appreciation Week. Any donation is greatly appreciated!
PARKING
If you plan on driving a vehicle to school this year, you must fill out the parking survey and pay the parking fee. If you have not already completed the survey, please do so ASAP, Rochester HS Parking Survey. Please make sure you are parking in the correct parking spot. Also, all students that park in the back lot will be required to enter through the MPR doors. Students should not be entering any of the other doors on the back side of the HS. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Tucker in the Principal’s Office.
ATHLETICS & ACTIVITIES
SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENT
If your student plans to participate in one of our upcoming sports seasons, please visit Athletic Registration to register your athlete. Please go under the 'more' tab and choose athletic registration. We will also need an updated physical on file. Don’t forget to subscribe to “notify me” for your child’s sport, this allows you to get automatic notifications of any schedule changes. If you need to check your child’s physical date or have any questions about the registration process, please contact Kim Hauck at khauck@rochester3a.net.
