WRESTLING TEAM RESULTS
The Rochester Wrestling Team went 2-0 in the CS8 Conference with wins over SHG and SHS. Rochester 39, SHS 35 and Rochester 39, SHG 29. The following wrestlers went 2-0: Harrison Kolba, Pierce Bultmann, Miles Carroll, Nicholas Mrozowski, Ethan Cullivan, Colton Maltby and Carlly Ho.

SNACK DRIVE
The RHS Student Council and Lighthouse Team are collecting pre-packaged items to help local students over the winter break! We are looking for pre-packaged snack donations. DON’T SWEAT THE TESTS - FINALS WEEK (DECEMBER 16-20)
Staff and Students will wear comfortable sweats for the week of testing to provide a relaxed and stress free environment.
JOSTENS CLASS RING DISTRIBUTION
Jostens will be at RHS delivering class rings to those students who ordered them on Friday, December 13 during Rocket Time in the HS Library! Please make sure your order is paid in full prior to picking up your ring. If you have a balance, please contact Jostens at 217-483-8989. GIRLS SOCCER MEETING
There will be a general interest meeting for anyone wanting to come out for girls soccer in the spring. The meeting will be held on Thursday, December 12 from 4:00-4:30 p.m. in Mr. Stuckey’s Classroom at the 2-3 Building. We will discuss expectations for the season along with providing offseason workouts for the girls.

RHS SENIOR QUOTES
Seniors, please check your email and submit a Senior Quote for the yearbook. RHS Seniors will have a quote under their Senior Portrait in the RHS 2024-2025 Yearbook. You need to pick a quote that is meaningful and represents you as a person or a quote that represents your high school experience. Please read the tips and rules before selecting a quote! The deadline to submit the quote is Friday, December 20, 2024.

MADRIGAL DINNER & TEA TICKETS
Madrigal Dinners are Friday-Saturday Dec. 6-7 at 6:30 p.m. - Tickets $30/each. Dinners include a full catered Nelson's 1/2 roasted chicken, potatoes, vegetable, salad, wassail, coffee and dessert. Vegetarian option available , please indicate on your ticket.
Madrigal Teas are Saturday-Sunday, Dec. 7-8 at 2:00 p.m. - Tickets $20/each. Teas include a homemade cheeseball and crackers, grapes, coffee, wassail, and dessert.
NEW in 2024 - All shows are offering a no-meal, Concert-Only ticket for $10. This option allows patrons to attend the second half of the show to hear some of the best musical moments, but without a meal. The concert portion lasts appx 1 hour. Arrival times for Concert-Only Tickets:

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
SENIORS: For seniors planning to attend Lincoln Land Community College next Fall, the LLCC Foundation Scholarship Application is now OPEN! Please see the information below on how to apply for the scholarship. The scholarship is due February 15, 2025.
First, students must apply to LLCC to be eligible for scholarships.

FRESHMAN FOOTBALL INFORMATION
If you are a parent or guardian of an 8th-grade student who wants to play Freshman Football in the Fall of 2025, please fill out the form on the following link: RHS Class of 2029 Freshman Football. This will help the high school coaches anticipate the expected number of players and give football moms the ability to communicate with players and parents in the upcoming months. The HS PTO needs your help! The PTO is seeking donations to provide additional supplies that the HS teachers need in their classrooms. JOSTENS GRADUATION INFO

ATHLETIC SPORTS PASSES
The 2024-25 Athletic Sports Passes will be available again this year! You can get yours at any home game. Cash or check made payable to “RHS”. The passes are good for RHS and RJHS home events. (Tournaments and Post Season games are not included) The cost is $200 for a Family Pass (for immediate family only) or $100 for an Individual Pass.

Students must complete the Parking Survey prior to receiving their parking tag.
COLLEGE ESSAY ASSISTANCE
College essay workshops will be every Monday and Wednesday during Rocket Time in the back of the Junior High Library (Dr. Johnson's new office space). Please send Dr. Johnson an email at tjohnson@rochester3a.net, and she will issue you a pass.

ATHLETICS & ACTIVITIES
SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENT
If your student plans to participate in sports this school year '24-'25. Registration is open. At that time, please visit Athletic Registration to register your athlete. Please go under the 'more' tab and choose athletic registration. We will also need an updated physical on file. Don’t forget to subscribe to “notify me” for your child’s sport, this allows you to get automatic notifications of any schedule changes. If you need to check your child’s physical date or have any questions about the registration process, please contact Kim Hauck at khauck@rochester3a.net.
