WRESTLING TEAM RESULTS
Wrestling Results from the Pekin Super Duals on Saturday, December 14 (Pekin 45, Rochester 23), (Mascoutah 52, Rochester 23), (Bloomington 35, Rochester 26), (Triad 59, Rochester 22). Pierce Bultmann 106 went 4-0, Miles Carroll 120 went 3-1, Connor Broughton 215 went 3-1, and Colton Maltby 285 went 3-1.
DON’T SWEAT THE TESTS - FINALS WEEK (DECEMBER 16-20)
Staff and Students will wear comfortable sweats for the week of testing to provide a relaxed and stress free environment.
CACC ANNOUNCEMENT
CACC is only requiring students to attend Monday, December 16 and TODAY, Tuesday, December 17. CACC classes will resume on January 7, 2025.
STUDENT TOUR - SUMMER 2026!
Are you interested in a once-in-a-lifetime experience to see a new part of the world? An Informational Meeting about a planned educational tour to JAPAN will be held on Tuesday, December 17 at 6:30 p.m. This VIRTUAL meeting should last about 30-40 minutes, and we will explore the itinerary, break down the affordability of the trip, and discuss next steps for those interested in taking on this opportunity. Please know that we want this to be available to all students, regardless of financial situation, so don't let that deter you! One parent/guardian must be in attendance – students are welcome to attend as well. GUIDED TEST PREP PROGRAM
RHS now has a subscription to the Learning Express Guided Test Prep program. This resource offers: Test prep for ACT, SAT, ASVAB, and AP exams, a Resume builder, and a Scholarship database. Students can access it by clicking on the Library Canvas page and following the links for EBSCO. For questions, contact Jennifer Newton at jnewton@rochester3a.net. We believe this tool will greatly benefit our students' academic and career pursuits.

Seniors, please check your email and submit a Senior Quote for the yearbook. RHS Seniors will have a quote under their Senior Portrait in the RHS 2024-2025 Yearbook. You need to pick a quote that is meaningful and represents you as a person or a quote that represents your high school experience. Please read the tips and rules before selecting a quote! The deadline to submit the quote is January 10, 2025.

SENIORS: For seniors planning to attend Lincoln Land Community College next Fall, the LLCC Foundation Scholarship Application is now OPEN! Please see the information below on how to apply for the scholarship. The scholarship is due February 15, 2025.
First, students must apply to LLCC to be eligible for scholarships.

The HS PTO needs your help! The PTO is seeking donations to provide additional supplies that the HS teachers need in their classrooms. JOSTENS GRADUATION INFO

ATHLETIC SPORTS PASSES
The 2024-25 Athletic Sports Passes will be available again this year! You can get yours at any home game. Cash or check made payable to “RHS”. The passes are good for RHS and RJHS home events. (Tournaments and Post Season games are not included) The cost is $200 for a Family Pass (for immediate family only) or $100 for an Individual Pass.

Students must complete the Parking Survey prior to receiving their parking tag.
COLLEGE ESSAY ASSISTANCE
College essay workshops will be every Monday and Wednesday during Rocket Time in the back of the Junior High Library (Dr. Johnson's new office space). Please send Dr. Johnson an email at tjohnson@rochester3a.net, and she will issue you a pass.

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENT
If your student plans to participate in sports this school year '24-'25. Registration is open. At that time, please visit Athletic Registration to register your athlete. Please go under the 'more' tab and choose athletic registration. We will also need an updated physical on file. Don’t forget to subscribe to “notify me” for your child’s sport, this allows you to get automatic notifications of any schedule changes. If you need to check your child’s physical date or have any questions about the registration process, please contact Kim Hauck at khauck@rochester3a.net.
