ART CLUB MEETING
The Art Club will meet TODAY, Wednesday, January 8 at 3:15 p.m. in Room 1129 - Mrs. Bell's room.
MAXIMIZING THE UPPERCLASSMAN EXPERIENCE
Current Juniors and Sophomores - Please join us for the "Maximizing the Upperclassman Experience" presentation by our staff TONIGHT, Wednesday, January 8 at 6:00 p.m. in the Fine Arts Auditorium. Learn about opportunities available to our junior and senior students.
BOYS TRACK MEETING INFORMATION
There will be a Parent/Athlete Meeting on Wednesday, January 15 in the HS Library at 6:00 p.m. for all boys interested in competing in Boys Track and Field for the 2025 season. Practice begins Tuesday, January 21. Students need to be registered with Rschool and have an updated physical on file to practice. Please email Coach Blaise or Coach McGhghy if you have any questions.
ACADEMIC CHALLENGE TEAM MEETING
The Academic Challenge Team (ACES) will meet in Mrs. Boyer's Room (3156) for a short meeting on Wednesday, January 15 after school. Please see the Canvas page for more information.

CACC OPEN HOUSE
CACC is holding their Annual Open House on Thursday, January 23 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Sophomores and Juniors interested in CACC, please bring your parents/guardians and join us for an Open House. This is a great opportunity to tour the labs, meet the teachers, talk with current students, and see if CACC is where you want to be for your Junior and Senior year. RYAA SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
The 2025 Rochester Youth Athletic Association (RYAA) annual scholarship application is open through Monday March 31, 2025. Up to two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to graduating seniors who plan to enroll full-time in an accredited Vocational, Technical, two or four-year College or University for the 2025-2026 Academic School Year. GUIDED TEST PREP PROGRAM
RHS now has a subscription to the Learning Express Guided Test Prep program. This resource offers: Test prep for ACT, SAT, ASVAB, and AP exams, a Resume builder, and a Scholarship database. Students can access it by clicking on the Library Canvas page and following the links for EBSCO. For questions, contact Jennifer Newton at jnewton@rochester3a.net. We believe this tool will greatly benefit our students' academic and career pursuits.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
SENIORS: For seniors planning to attend Lincoln Land Community College next Fall, the LLCC Foundation Scholarship Application is now OPEN! Please see the information below on how to apply for the scholarship. The scholarship is due February 15, 2025.
First, students must apply to LLCC to be eligible for scholarships.

RHS PTO INFORMATION
The HS PTO needs your help! The PTO is seeking donations to provide additional supplies that the HS teachers need in their classrooms. JOSTENS GRADUATION INFO

ATHLETIC SPORTS PASSES
The 2024-25 Athletic Sports Passes will be available again this year! You can get yours at any home game. Cash or check made payable to “RHS”. The passes are good for RHS and RJHS home events. (Tournaments and Post Season games are not included) The cost is $200 for a Family Pass (for immediate family only) or $100 for an Individual Pass.

Students must complete the Parking Survey prior to receiving their parking tag.
COLLEGE ESSAY ASSISTANCE
College essay workshops will be every Monday and Wednesday during Rocket Time in the back of the Junior High Library (Dr. Johnson's new office space). Please send Dr. Johnson an email at tjohnson@rochester3a.net, and she will issue you a pass.

ATHLETICS & ACTIVITIES
SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENT
If your student plans to participate in sports this school year '24-'25. Registration is open. At that time, please visit Athletic Registration to register your athlete. Please go under the 'more' tab and choose athletic registration. We will also need an updated physical on file. Don’t forget to subscribe to “notify me” for your child’s sport, this allows you to get automatic notifications of any schedule changes. If you need to check your child’s physical date or have any questions about the registration process, please contact Kim Hauck at khauck@rochester3a.net.
