SENIOR NIGHT - WRESTLING
The Wrestling team plays Carlinville and Hillsboro TONIGHT, Wednesday, January 29. The senior wrestlers will be recognized at approximately 5:45 p.m. Please come out and support the wrestling team and the Class of 2025 Seniors! Students - Come out to the RAC and support the Rocket wrestlers on their Senior Night vs Hillsboro and Carlinville. In between matches four RHS students will be selected for a chance to win a $100 Buffalo Wild Wings gift card by making a putt across the wrestling mat. Be there to cheer on our Rocket wrestlers and also for a chance at a great prize!
FCA MEETING
There will be an FCA Meeting TOMORROW, Thursday, January 30 from 7:00-7:45 a.m. in the RAC Team Room for anyone interested. Breakfast will be provided.
JUNIOR CLASS FUNDRAISER UPDATE
Order Pick-Up is TOMORROW, Thursday, January 30 after school until 4:30 p.m. in the Back of the Auditorium. Please make sure you personally come pick up your items or have someone pick them up for you as we do not have room to store them all overnight.
GIRLS TRACK INFORMATION
All girls interested in HS Track need to make sure you have contacted Coach Trexler. Pre-season practices have started. A Parent Meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 4 at 6:00 p.m. in the HS Library. Official practices will start on Wednesday. Girls in other sports and activities will not be required to be at practice yet, but parents should still attend the meeting on Tuesday. Also, all parents need to sign up their athletes on RSchool ASAP. Without proof of a physical, athletes cannot practice. More scheduled dates will be available at the Parent Meeting. Practices this week are 3:30-5:00 p.m. Tonight 1/29 at RIS, tomorrow 1/30 at the RAC. Next week - Mon 2/3 -JH ELA Commons, Tues 2/4 - RAC, Wed 2/5 - RIS, Thurs 2/6 - RAC and Fri 2/7 - RAC.

SOPHOMORE CLASS FUNDRAISER
Please share this link to help promote your sophomore class fundraiser. The sale will be open for one week, January 27 - February 3. Orders will be handed out on February 10 during Rocket Time. BAND BOOSTERS LASAGNA DINNER
It's time for the Band Boosters Lasagna Dinner! The dinner will be held on Monday, February 10 in the HS Cafeteria from 5:00-6:45 p.m. Tickets are on sale now through noon on Monday, February 3. “IN OUR SCHOOL” PRESENTATIONS
Rochester High School would like to invite all Rocket Parents and Guardians to a new series of “In Our School” presentations. “In Our School” presentations are for Rochester High School Parents and Guardians and will provide information on important topics concerning our students. The first “In Our School” Presentation, Topic: Vaping will be held on Thursday, February 6 from 6:00-6:45 p.m. in the Auditorium. Please find below a link to a letter with additional information. PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES
Parent/Teacher Conferences for Rochester High School families will be held on Wednesday, February 12 from 3:30-8:30 p.m. Conferences can be held VIRTUALLY OR IN-PERSON. The default setting is virtual, so if you would like to meet in-person, please use the drop down menu and change the option. Parents should use their Skyward Family Access to schedule 15-minute appointments with their student’s teachers that they would like to visit. After scheduling your conference(s), parents will be sent a link by the teacher for each virtual meeting via their email. Directions on how to schedule a conference can be found here. Last year the STEM Fair hosted 80 exhibits and attracted over 1000 attendees from 20 different schools in Central Illinois. GUIDED TEST PREP PROGRAM
RHS now has a subscription to the Learning Express Guided Test Prep program. This resource offers: Test prep for ACT, SAT, ASVAB, and AP exams, a Resume builder, and a Scholarship database. Students can access it by clicking on the Library Canvas page and following the links for EBSCO.
