HAZEL HEALTH INFORMATION
We’re launching our health services program for this school year, and we want to make sure your family has access to these services all year long. Our district is hosting a Consent for Care Drive to ensure 100% of families learn about our student health services from Hazel Health. With Hazel, students can immediately speak with a Hazel doctor right from school or at home.
On-demand health services include:
- Medical treatment: For stomach aches, headaches, sprained ankles, asthma concerns, and everything in between.
- Medication: Prescriptions written or over-the-counter provided at school when needed.
- Coordination: With family physician and return to school communications.
Parents - Please sign the Consent for Care form to ensure your child has access to these services: my.hazel.co/rochester3a. If you have already completed the form, thank you! You can help us reach 100% of families this week by reminding your fellow Rochester CUSD 3A families to opt-in to this service during our drive.
GENERAL INFORMATION
LEONARD BOWL ONLINE TICKET SALES
Purchase your Football tickets at PURCHASE ONLINE TICKETS for the Leonard Bowl this Friday, 9/10. Tickets sales will start today and run through Friday at 12:00 p.m. Due to limited cell phone service at the stadium we ask that you either print or screenshot your tickets to ensure access to them at the gate. Please remember that all Rochester District students (K-12) have free admission to all events this year so you will not need to purchase tickets for them to attend. FAMILY/INDIVIDUAL FALL SEASON SPORTS PASSES
Family and Individual fall season sports passes will be available at all games for purchase. Family passes are $100 and individual passes are $40-adult or $30-senior citizen. These passes allow entrance into all junior high and high school events during the fall season. Please bring a check (made out to RHS) or exact change. If you are planning to purchase passes at the football game they will be available at the pass gate only (far gate).
HOMECOMING 2021 INFORMATION
When: Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 8:00-10:00 p.m.
Where: RHS Tennis Courts - No Masks Outdoors
Rain Location: RAC - Masks Required Indoors
Cost: $10.00 per Person - You will pay at the gate.
Guest forms for the Homecoming Dance will be available from Mrs. Lessman in Student Services. Guest forms will be due Wednesday, September 22 by 3:05 p.m. to Mrs. Lessman in Student Services. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Lessman.
BAND BOOSTER MEETING
The Rochester Band Booster parent meeting will be held on Monday, September 13, at 6 p.m. in the Rochester Fine Arts Auditorium. Parents of band students in grades 5th-12th are invited to participate. Directly following the Booster Meeting at 7 p.m., there will be an informational student/parent Disney Trip Meeting held in the Rochester Fine Arts Auditorium. All high school music students in choir and/or band are eligible to participate in the Disney Trip. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Bauser by email at bbauser@rochester3a.net.
PSAT-NMSQT TEST - JUNIORS
Attention Juniors - We will be offering the PSAT-NMSQT test on Wednesday, October 13. This is a voluntary test and costs $18 to take. It is recommended for college bound students. We have a limited number of tests available - first come, first serve. Sign up with Mrs. Schudel in Student Services by Thursday, September 30.

RHS HOMECOMING PARADE INFORMATION
This year’s Rochester High School Homecoming Parade will be on Wednesday, September 22 at 5:30 p.m. This year’s theme is “Fairytales”. If you are interested in participating in the parade or need additional information, please contact Deena Powell at (217)498-9761, Ext. 3122 during the school day or you can email me at dpowell@rochester3a.net. Parade entries should fill out a form at this link Parade Entries. All parade entries need to have adult supervision and will not include political entries. ALL sports/activities/businesses not directly connected to the Rochester Schools will need to fill out a Waiver of Liability Form and return to Deena Powell at dpowell@rochester3a.net no later than 3:15 pm on Tuesday, September 21. HS BOYS BASKETBALL OPEN GYM INFORMATION
For anyone interested in playing high school basketball this year that isn’t playing a fall sport, open gyms will be on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the RAC. Masks must be worn during the open gym.

Don’t forget to subscribe to “notify me” for your child’s sport, this allows you to get automatic notifications of any schedule changes.
