GIRLS BASKETBALL SECTIONAL GAME
The girls basketball team will play Mahomet TONIGHT, Tuesday, February 22 at 7:30 p.m. in Lincoln. Per the IHSA, all tickets for the sectional round must be purchased online using the GoFan app and cost $7.00 per ticket. Here is the link to tickets. BLACK HISTORY MONTH - FACT OF THE DAY
John Lewis was an American civil rights leader and politician best known for his chairmanship of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) and for leading the march that was halted by police violence on the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama, in 1965, a landmark event in the history of the civil rights movement that became known as “Bloody Sunday.” He also fought for voting rights and that fight continues today. He died in 2020.
BASEBALL PARENT MEETING INFORMATION
There will be a parent meeting over google meet this Wednesday, February 23 at 6:00 p.m. One parent must attend and players are encouraged to attend.
BOYS TENNIS TEAM MEETING
Tennis season is coming soon and the Rockets are ready to get started! Anyone looking to play on the boys tennis team, please contact Coach Ty Smith at tsmith@rochester3a.net with your interest. There will be a Mandatory Players Meeting this Thursday, February 24 at 4:30 p.m. in the RAC.
RHS BASS FISHING TEAM INFORMATION
RHS Bass Fishing will hold an informational meeting for the spring season on Monday, February 28 @ 6:00 p.m. in the RHS Commons. Those interested in participating in bass fishing for the spring season need to be in attendance. Parents and adult boat captains are encouraged to attend as well.
ROCHESTER BAND BOOSTER ANNUAL PIZZA SALE
The Rochester Band Boosters Annual Pizza Sale Fundraiser is underway! Proceeds from the pizza sales benefit the 5th through 12th grade band program and our goal is to sell 1500 pizzas! Purchase your pizzas from any band student and make checks payable to the “Rochester Band Boosters”. Students may take orders now and turn them in by March 4 to his/her individual band director. The making of pizzas and student pick/up delivery will be held on March 12 at the Rochester United Methodist Church. Thank you for supporting the Rochester Band Boosters!
5ESSENTIALS SURVEY FOR RHS PARENTS
Parents, please take a few minutes to complete the 5Essentials Survey for RHS. This is a survey given by the Illinois State Board of Education. Your students will be taking the survey next week. What is the 5Essentials Survey? The 5Essentials Survey is taken by all PK-12th grade teachers and all 4th-12th grade students. The information collected through the survey is reviewed and analyzed to generate a 5Essentials Report for each school. The 5Essentials Report includes a breakdown of teacher and student responses and provides a comprehensive picture of the school environment based on five essential areas critical for school improvement in a meaningful context of similar and successful schools.

Parking Pass - If you need to get a parking sticker, please fill out the Parking Survey. If you are driving a different vehicle to school for any reason you need to fill out this form on a daily basis so we know that it is in the parking lot.
