Thank you to all who participated in our RHS Homecoming Parade! It is a wonderful community event that enriches our Homecoming Week! RHS Club U has awarded prizes for the parade entries that used the “Breakfast Cereal” parade theme and displayed school spirit. Great job to all who participated! The winners this year are:

CHAPERONES NEEDED - HOMECOMING DANCE
The Student Council is looking for additional chaperones for the Homecoming Dance this Saturday, September 17 from 8:00-11:00 p.m. in the Junior High Gym. If you are interested, please email Mrs. Leonard at rleonard@rochester3a.net.
JUNIORS - PSAT/NMQST INFORMATION
Juniors, if you are interested in taking a practice SAT test, RHS will be offering the PSAT/NMQST on October 12 at 8:00 a.m. Please see Mrs. Schudel in Student Services to sign-up by September 16. The cost of the test is $18 and checks can be made out to “RHS”. PSAT/NMQST Info Sheet
FINANCIAL AID NIGHT
SENIORS - Class of 2022 Financial Aid Night will be held on Wednesday, September 21 at 6:00 p.m. in the High School Library. Attendees may enter through the Student Services entrance.

SCIENCE OLYMPIAD
Planning for this year's 2023 Science Olympiad is underway! The Regional Science Olympiad Tournament will be in person this year during February. If you are interested in participating in this year's event, please send an email to Mrs. Godar or Mrs. Goad.
CHESS CLUB ANNOUNCEMENT
The Chess Club is starting up with weekly meetings every Wednesday morning in the HS Commons at 7:15 a.m. Players of all skill levels and experience are welcome. Other board games besides Chess are also available, so come and play some games!

21-22 YEARBOOK PICK UP INFORMATION

CLUB U INFORMATION
Club U is a student community service club where your community service hours are kept in a database and reports are provided to you for college applications, National Honor Society and college scholarships. If you are interested in joining Club U or need more information, please send Mrs. Powell an email and she will add you to the Club U Canvas Page.
LOW LUNCH BALANCE ALERTS
The low lunch balance alerts have been reactivated for all families. You will get an alert when your lunch balance is below $5.00. If you choose to shut off the alert, you will no longer get any school announcements.
DOCTORS NOTES
Please make sure that doctor’s notes are being brought to Mrs. Lessman in Student Services after the appointment. The note will change that absence in Skyward from a parent excuse - AE to a doctor excused absence - AD. Students are only allowed 6 AE absences in a school year. After 6 excused absences they will be counted as unexcused absences- UU. Please contact Mrs. Lessman in Student Services if you have questions.
PARKING
Please make sure you are parking in the correct parking spot. If you park in the wrong spot, it causes a chain reaction of students not being able to park in their assigned spot. Also, if you are driving to school, you must have a parking sticker posted in your vehicle. Please contact Mrs. Tucker in the Principal’s Office to purchase a sticker.
