RHS riders on Busses #7 and #19 please wait in the HS cafeteria after school until your shuttle bus arrives to pick you up and take you home. PLEASE DIRECT ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING LATE BUSES TO THE BUS GARAGE. THEY CAN BE REACHED AT (217) 498-9834.
PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES - 11/2/22
Parent/Teacher Conference sign-up for today, November 2 is closed. If you still need to sign up for a time to meet with a specific teacher for tonight, you can call Sue Tucker at 217-498-9761, Ext. 3235 and she can assist you. Parents should use their Skyward Family Access to schedule 15-minute virtual appointments with their student’s teachers that they would like to visit with through our video conferencing platform. After scheduling your conference(s), parents will be sent a link by the teacher for each meeting via their email. Directions on how to schedule a conference can be found here.

BOYS BASKETBALL ANNOUNCEMENT
There will be a Parent/Coaches Meeting for anyone interested in playing basketball this year TODAY, Wednesday, November 2 in the RAC at 6:30 p.m. Both players and parents are asked to attend. If you have any questions, please reach out to Coach Gavin at tgavin@inb.com.
2ND ROUND FOOTBALL PLAYOFF GAME
Rochester will play Breese Central on Saturday, November 5 at 4:30 p.m. Gates will open at 3:00 p.m. Admissions: Admission is set by the IHSA. Digital tickets are $6.00. Cash tickets at the door are $7.00. Digital tickets are only available online through GoFan. The link to the tickets can be found here - Go Fan LINK. A baby held in arms will be admitted free. No passes will be accepted except for those on the school-submitted team pass list.
DISNEY TRIP PASTRY FUNDRAISER
The annual Disney Trip Pastry Fundraiser sale is underway! You can purchase your favorite puffin pastries, pastry hearts, butter braids, or popcorn now through Monday, November 7. Money is due at the time of order and checks should be made payable to MUSIC DEPARTMENT TRIP FUND. Please see any band, choir, flags, or poms member to place an order. DOCTORS NOTES
Please make sure that doctor’s notes are being brought to Mrs. Lessman in Student Services after the appointment. The note will change that absence in Skyward from a parent excuse - AE to a doctor excused absence - AD. Students are only allowed 6 AE absences in a school year. After 6 excused absences they will be counted as unexcused absences- UU. Please contact Mrs. Lessman in Student Services if you have questions.
PARKING
Please make sure you are parking in the correct parking spot. If you park in the wrong spot, it causes a chain reaction of students not being able to park in their assigned spot. Also, if you are driving to school, you must have a parking sticker posted in your vehicle. Please contact Mrs. Tucker in the Principal’s Office to purchase a sticker.

Rochester High School Wrestling Open Mats/Gym this week will be Wednesday, November 2 and Friday, November 4 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. in the RAC wrestling room.

If your student plans to participate in one of our upcoming sports seasons, please visit RHS RSchool to register your athlete. We will also need an updated physical on file. Don’t forget to subscribe to “notify me” for your child’s sport, this allows you to get automatic notifications of any schedule changes. If you need to check your child’s physical date or have any questions about the registration process, please contact Kim Hauck at khauck@rochester3a.net.
