If you need a loaner chromebook, please visit the Tech Office before 8:30am.
It is important to remember your chromebook daily and to bring it charged and ready for class. Please carry your chargers in your case so if your battery gets low at the end of the day you can charge it. We are seeing more students for loaners everyday and only have a limited number of chromebooks.

Lost and Found
Please remind your child(ren) to check out our lost and found table in the back of the cafeteria if they are missing any items. We have a large amount of items that are piling up on the lost and found table.
We need your help restocking our empty toilet paper tubes and paper towel tubes for STEAM activities and the Makerspace. If you can help us replenish our stock that would be greatly appreciated. Students can bring the tubes to Mrs. Flynn in the technology office. Thank you for your help!
Library
For the Library newsletter, please check out this link!
Congratulations to all RIS classes for showing positive behavior in the RIS library this semester. Many entries were placed in the Library Whisper Wheel and 3 classes have been randomly drawn for library pizza parties. The 3 winning classes are: Mrs. Covi’s 4th grade class,
Mrs. Tinder’s 5th grade class, and Mrs. Lauber’s 6th grade class.
Also, random library links from the “Link to Learn Chain” have been drawn for gift cards. The 3 random winners are: Mia Davis from Mrs. Anderson’s class, Cayden Holzmacher from
Mr. Rose’s class, and Owen Doerfler in Mrs. Wycoff’s class. Also, a Blue Link was randomly drawn for a gift card from our Teacher Link Chain. The random winner is: Mrs.Anderson, our 4th grade teacher.
All students in grades 4-6 are encouraged to read books all the way through and submit links to push the hot air balloons toward the finish line!

Parent Pick-up:
As a reminder, for parent pick-up at the end of the day, all parents should remain in their vehicles and follow the pick-up line around and to the front of the building. Please do not park in the parking spaces in order to pick up your child. Thank you for your help with this!
Lunch Balances
The low lunch balance alerts have been reactivated for all families. You will get an alert when your lunch balance is below $5.00. If you choose to shut off the alert, you will no longer get any school announcements.
Hazel Health
We want to make sure every student has the option to access our student health services from day one. Be sure to take part in our Consent for Care Drive by signing the form at my.hazel.co/rochester3a. If you have already completed the form, thank you!
Why sign up?
When students are not feeling well, they often miss more school when they can’t see a doctor. We are making doctor visits available to all students through Hazel, so they can receive medical care and return to learning faster. Wondering whether your child has allergies or a potential flu? Your child says they have a headache that just won’t go away, and you’re not sure whether it’s serious? Will you need to leave work to drop off medicine at school?
Hazel can help by providing HIPAA-compliant video doctor visits through your school nurse’s office or from home. Hazel is a trusted resource for extended student health services, including:
Medical treatment: For stomach aches, headaches, sprained ankles, asthma concerns, and everything in between
Medication: Prescriptions written or over-the-counter provided at school when needed
Coordination: With family physician and school
Sign the form at this link now to be prepared for student health this school year: my.hazel.co/rochester3a
Parents who are unable to sign the form today can still sign up at any time during the school year. We encourage you to do this early, so you are prepared for student health this year.
