RJHS Scholastic Bowl
Jon Noll was the 5th place scorer (out of 148 students) at the Thielen Memorial Tournament over the weekend.
High School Summer Football Tomorrow
8th Grade Students interested in participating in Summer High School Football: There will be an informational meeting for Parents and Players on Thursday, April 25th in the RAC to go over summer football details.
Freshman (2028) will meet at 6:30p.m. - Please arrive at 6:00 to register your player and pay your Summer fee, and look at some of the items in the BSM Team Shop including: Shoes, girdles, gloves, compression gear, etc.

RHS CHEERLEADING TRYOUTS
The 24-25 Rochester High School Cheerleading Tryouts will be held on May 7, 8 and 10. Anyone interested in going out for the team should join the BAND app tryout group and file out the survey before Friday, May 3. There is also a Mandatory Parent Meeting for anyone interested in trying out for the team on Wednesday, April 24 at 6:00pm. in the RHS Commons. Please check the Orange and Blue flyers posted around the school for more details! Contact Coach Shaina with any questions at sford@rochester3a.net.

Basketball Open Gyms
Open gyms will be every Wednesday and will run through October. The open gyms will be held in the RAC from 6:00-7:00 p.m. for anyone in 3rd through 8th grade and 7:00- 8:30 p.m. for high school students and up.
Summer Sport Camps
Summer Camps are open for registration. Payment is cash/check before the first day of camp. (I have the brochure attached). Links for registration are below:

Dr./Dentist/Ortho. Notes
Make sure that Doctor’s notes are being brought to the Jr High office after the appointment or if your student has been sick. That note will change that absence in Skyward from a parent excuse - AE to a doctor excuse - AD. Remember that students get 10 parent excused absences (AE) in a school year. After 10 they will be considered unexcused (UU). You can have your student bring in the note to the office or you can email the note to cjones@rochester3a.net .
Mental Health Days: you are allowed 5 mental health days in a school year, but those are also part of your 10 excused absences (AE) that were mentioned above. If 10 absences have been taken, all absences going forward will be marked as unexcused unless there is a doctor’s note for that day.

Safe2Help is a 24/7 program for students, staff, and families to share school safety issues, find resources to get help, and find encouragement to help others. Anyone can call to talk to a trained staff member about abuse, bullying, depression, self-injury, or suicidal thoughts for themselves or other students.
